This BRINSMEAD family originates from St Giles in the Wood in Devon. A family tree of around 1300 BRINSMEAD's and their descendants from Devon are listed below. The earliest records for St Giles in the Wood begin in the early 1600's. Andy SIMMS has been researching these early records and indicates that the first BRINSMEAD's in Devon originated from Bishops Hull in Somerset.
